Physiotherapists
New Zealand registered physiotherapists frequently encounter situations where CPR is needed, often at rates higher than the general population. Given their duty of care to ensure patient safety, physiotherapists must be proficient in CPR. I believe that physiotherapists should be prepared to assist in emergencies to the extent of their training.
