Anaphylaxis Training

Resus Nelson can offer practical training in caring for a person suffering an acute allergic reaction or anaphylactic shock.

Participants will gain an understanding in the:

The basic principles behind an allergic reaction
Early recognition of the signs and symptoms
How to treat symptoms with immediate aid
When and how to administer intra-muscular adrenaline

This training can be taught in 2 hours, depending on the number of participants in a group, and costs $75.00 (Exc GST) per person.

EpiPen training only will be $50.00 (Exc GST)

A certificate of attendance is issued

In 2017 we required adrenaline training for 30 of our workers. After a short period of looking for a suitable training provider, we decided that Resus Nelson would meet our adrenaline training needs. Resus Nelson provided us with solid, relevant training that was specific to our work in the forestry industry.
